CHOOSE FRIENDS WISELY!!

PROVERBS 22:24-25

24Do not make friends with a hot-tempered person, do not associate with one easily angered,

25or you may learn their ways and get yourself ensnared.

22: 24-25   People tend to become like those with whom they spend a lot of time. Unfortunately, negative characteristics and habits often rub off. The Bible exhorts us to be cautious in our choice of companions. Choose to spend time with people who have qualities you would like to develop in your own life.

Tyndale. NIV Life Application Study Bible.

How often do we find ourselves in BAD COMPANY? Regretfully I think more than we really should be. Todays world is full of to much negative and sinful people that it seems to be impossible to not associate with someone who could be put in the category of "hot-tempered, or easily angered"! But as Christians we are to avoid these type of persons, try to make our associates and friends be with Christians ethics and ways, not worldly and sinful. Because if we do we stand the chance of their ways rubbing off on us as we spend more time with them.

ON THE WAY HOME WALK WITH JESUS and try our best to make sure our friends and associates are Christian brothers and sisters that are trying to reach the same level of purity that we are as we are ON OUR WAY HOME WITH JESUS!!
