IDOLATRY

Galatians 5:19-20

19 The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity, and debauchery; 20 idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions

We see this and think we don’t worship Idols! But don’t we? How many other things do we find ourselves putting before our love of Christ? So often the things we least expect end up being idols in our life. Let’s see now, job and money, do we work too much to try to obtain wealth? Or worse to be part of the “in world” in society. And in doing so do we not pay attention to family needs while working so hard. So can the money be an idol? Next, we see people wrapped up in sports, “the game” whether its football or motor sport or skating. A lot of people live to see “the game” or bet on the game. The list can go on and on of the idols we put in our life. ON THE WAY HOME WALK WITH JESUS and let Jesus be our life and put idols aside.
