LIGHT IS GOOD!!!

JAMES 1:17-18

17Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not changed like shifting shadows. 18He chose to give us birth through the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of all he created.

1: 17   The Bible often compares goodness with light and evil with shadow and darkness. God is the sovereign creator of the sun, moon, and stars. He gives us good gifts and illuminates our minds to see the goodness in these gifts. As his prized possessions, we are the ones to receive a foretaste of future blessings (see Romans 8: 22-23).
