PRAYER, LOVE AND KNOWLEDGE

Philippians 1:9-11

9 And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, 10 so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, 11 filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ—to the glory and praise of God.

When we pray for someone, we should always do so in love. Paul prayed lovingly for the Philippian church. He prayed that they would gain knowledge in Jesus. The more you gain knowledge of Christ, the more you learn about the love of Christ and what He did at the cross. He also prayed for their discernment of what is right and wrong. The more you study God’s word, the more discernment you will gain in knowing what is morally right. Which leads to repentance and a morally right life. Life is not easy, but with Jesus in the head of our life, our life will become more able to deal with when trials or persecution comes. Accept Jesus as your savior and then ON THE WAY HOME WALK WITH JESUS.
