REAL LOVE
Romans 12:9
9: Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.
12:9-10 Most of us have learned how to be courteous to others—how to speak kindly, avoid hurting their feelings, and appear to take an interest in them. We may even be skilled in pretending to feel compassion when we hear of others’ needs, or to become indignant when we learn of injustice. But God calls us to genuine love that goes far beyond pretense and politeness. Genuine love requires concentration and effort. It means helping others become better people. It demands our time, money, and personal involvement. No individual has the capacity to express love to a whole community, but the body of Christ in your town does. Look for people who need your love, and look for ways you and your fellow believers can love your community for Christ. Tyndale. Life Application Study Bible NIV.
SOME MIGHT READ THIS SCRIPTURE AND WONDER HOW IT PARTAINS TO US AS INDIVIDUALS?? Well when we truly love, first of all we become SELFLESS and not so SELFISH!! Second we don’t like what is wrong, or not in God’s will. (EVIL) And last we should always want to do good whether it be just a smile to someone, or giving your time to help someone, or even contributing to help someone in need whether it is financial help or physical help or even just saying a very small prayer. Learning to LOVE like JESUS is a day by day process and todays society doesn’t make it any easier. BUT with JESUS in our life all things are possible if it is done in HIS will!!! ON THE WAY HOME WALK WITH JESUS and let all your love BE SINCERE!!!!
