SATAN HATES OBEDIENCE, SO HE HATES WHEN WE LOVE AND OBEY JESUS AND GIVE OUR TESTIMONY OF HIS LOVE TH

John 15:9-11

9 “As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. 10 If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love. 11 I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.

Today is a special devotion for me. It is about a lady that obeys Christ beyond what some would see as “NORMAL.” But she is not NORMAL!! She is a true child of God, she Is a teacher of His word, she is a mentor to many ladies in studying the Bible, she is a wife of every man’s dreams. She loves Jesus more than anything in this world!! SHE IS MY MOM and Satan tried very hard to destroy her witness!! About 13 years ago we found out Mom had breast cancer. We all went to their home on Thanksgiving 2008. The surgery was the next day. Well about 9 PM her dear friend and Doctor called and canceled the surgery. Said Mom had a cough and cold, therefore, she could not do the surgery. Mom was devastated. We all were. But all in God’s will and Mom said why me Lord? Well, finally we slept. When she woke the next morning, she dropped her Bible and it fell open to John 11:4(When he heard this, Jesus said, “This sickness will not end in death. No, it is for God’s glory so that God’s Son may be glorified through it.”). My Mom being the woman God wants her to be is totally satisfied now. She is not going to die, she just doesn’t see how it will be to God’s glory. Long story Short, she doesn’t have the surgery. God heals her miraculously. But the Doctors still want her to do some treatments. Now comes God’s glory. While at her treatments it becomes a testimony and Bible study to the people there. A time they all looked forward to. A time to fellowship and share the love of Jesus and what He did in Mom’s life. The time that God knew that Mom’s testimony and her love for Jesus would be shown to many others. So even if you don’t understand sometimes why bad things happen to good people keep your faith in Jesus. Tell your testimony to anyone and that will listen and most of all ON THE WAY HOME WALK WITH JESUS and don’t let Satan destroy your testimony!!

Then five years later on her five years of the cancer-free anniversary, God’s glory again. Her doctor calls her and Dad to ask them to go to the St Catherine National Cancer Survivors Banquet. Little does Mom know at the time of her acceptance, that she would be the featured speaker that night. And what does she do in all her surprise? She stands up and gives her story and gives God all the glory for everything that happened and the way it happened. WHAT A TESTIMONY!! ON THE WAY HOME WALK WITH JESUS and let your life be a testimony of what JESUS CHRIST HAS DONE IN YOUR LIFE
