SPIRITUAL GROWTH

Mark 4:26-29

26 He also said, “This is what the kingdom of God is like.(A) A man scatters seed on the ground. 27 Night and day, whether he sleeps or gets up, the seed sprouts and grows, though he does not know how. 28 All by itself the soil produces grain—first the stalk, then the head, then the full kernel in the head. 29 As soon as the grain is ripe, he puts the sickle to it, because the harvest has come.”

In this parable Jesus explains the growth of a seed into a full grown plant and into its harvest. It is a slow process, sometimes one that takes months or years to see the mature, producing, plant or tree. Our life is similar to this as we grow. Some mature faster than others. Yet as Christians we are supposed to mature daily. It may not be an evidence of growth, but we should at least be aware that a change is happening in our life. If not, God might prune the plant or cause us to become more mature because He will help us mature as we should. I know in my life, God did a lot of pruning to get me ready to produce fruit. And I still mature and am corrected daily.ON THE WAY HOME WALK WITH JESUS in your spiritual growth as he mature you in wisdom and knowledge of his word and will and ways of Christian maturity!!
