STAYING FAITHFUL NO MATTER WHAT

Daniel 3:16-18

16 Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego replied to him, “King Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to defend ourselves before you in this matter. 17 If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it, and he will deliver us[a] from Your Majesty’s hand. 18 But even if he does not, we want you to know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up.

What would you do when presented with death? What would you do when presented with a “loved one” leaving you or not loving you? What would you do when presented with a situation of adultery? What would you do in a business deal that is not exactly legal or maybe on the line of morally right? What would you do if all others are “doing it” and you feel it’s wrong? Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego remained true to God even in the face of certain death. Very few of us will ever face a life or death circumstance, but we may face an adulterous situation or a bad business deal. When we face trials or temptations we have to turn to Jesus and ask His guidance and ask for strength. I know a lady that is going thru a temptation of social pressure. She is a growing Christian and her friends ask her to become weak and do what everyone else is doing. Yet she stood tall and said I’m sorry but I’m living my life for Jesus and that’s not something I want to do anymore. I was so proud of her, but more so I’m sure Jesus looked down on her and said well done my good and faithful servant. ON THE WAY HOME WALK WITH JESUS and be sure to stand firm in your faith no matter what.
