TELL THE TRUTH
PROVERBS 20:23
23The LORD detests differing weights, and dishonest scales do not please him.
20: 23 “ Differing weights” refers to the wrongly labeled weights a merchant might use in weighing out a customer’s order in an effort to cheat them. Dishonesty is a difficult sin to avoid because it appeals to one of the strongest of temptations— greed. It is easy to get away with cheating when no one else is looking. But dishonesty affects the very core of a person. It makes that person untrustworthy and untrusting, regardless of whether they get caught. Take dishonesty seriously. Even the smallest act of dishonesty contains enough of the poison of deceit to kill your spiritual life. If you have any dishonesty in your life, tell God about it now.
Tyndale. NIV Life Application Study Bible
Dishonesty!! I know it was so easy to be dishonest when i was out there living a life for myself, it didnt matter what was happening i always NEVER told the truth!! I was "BEING CAREFUL" to not ever let anyone know what i was doing! Lying and the untruths we use are truly destroying our inner self. And it becomes so easy that you will be dishonest when the truth would have been better! And the ability to break that sin depends on your having a right telationship with JESUS CHRIST JESUS said "I am the way, THE TRUTH,! NOONE COMES TO THE FATHER ACCEPT BY ME!!!
so ON THE WAY HOME WALK WITH JESUS and make sure your scales ALWAYS SHOW CORRECT WEIGHTS!!
