PROVERBS chapters 10-24

WISDOM FOR ALL PEOPLE (10:1 through 24:34) These short couplets are what we commonly recognize as proverbs. They cover a wide range of topics. The first section was written by Solomon. The next two sections were written by others but collected by Solomon. These sayings give people practical wisdom for godly living at every stage of life.

PROVERBS 10:1-2

ILL GOTTEN GAINS!!

1The proverbs of Solomon: A wise son brings joy to his father, but a foolish son brings grief to his mother.

2Ill-gotten treasures have no lasting value, but righteousness delivers from death.

10: 2   Some people bring unhappiness on themselves by seeking fast money and ill-gotten treasures. For example, craving immediate gratification can destroy their chances of ever achieving true happiness. God’s principles for righteous living bring lasting happiness because they guide us into long-term spiritually healthy behavior.

I am sure at somepoint in life we have all disappointed our parents. And also at some point i am sure we have had the chance to be a part of ILL-GOTTEN gains. Well i can say that i have done both, and I also had the shame of dissapointment of my parents! That was corrected when i straightened my life up and started living for CHRIST. Momma always said "i know God has something for you to do! But i wish he and you would get on his terms, because i am tired of praying for you and am ready to pray with you!!"

Then the ill-gotten gains!! well before i got busted i had aquired a WHOLE LOT OF STUFF!! But a big part was not aquired in a legal way! It was bought with dope money or traded for with dope!! And guess what GOD TOOK IT ALL AWAY!!!But today i live my life with a peace and joy that i never could ever aquire with more money than i could spend!! AND i may not have all my wants, but GOD fullfills ALL MY NEEDS and allows me my wants at his time not mine!!

ON THE WAY HOME WALK WITH JESUS and be a joy to parents not foolish, and make sure you aquire your things the right way not any other way!!
