 Margaret “Maggie” Brooks

I was fortunate to have been raised in a typical Christian family in the Mississippi Delta region of Arkansas during the mid .20th century.   Although being an only child, I had a slew of aunts, uncles, and cousins to keep me entertained.

The whole family would meet at Grandma’s house for “dinner” after church every Sunday, an example of the proverbial family of early Americana.  Having married at 20 years of age, the Lord called me to teach His word in my mid-20’s and I eagerly accepted the call.  I have taught Sunday School, Home and Community Bible Studies, and been a Conference Speaker all while raising three rambunctious kids, Richard Dean, Brian Scott, and Leigh-ellen.  My husband was a Pharmacist, busy starting our own business and two different states so, to say the least we were a busy family.  Oh, yes, I almost forgot, that during this same time period, I decided to go back to college and finish my education.  I may have seemed to be a glutton for punishment, but I was in the prime of my life and loving every minute of it.

It wasn’t long before the Lord pushed me a little further.  He put a longing in my heart to teach the Book of Revelation.  I was excited to begin this study and read everything I could find written by my favorite ministers, on the subject.   Each time an opportunity presented itself, I would update, rewrite, and review all that I had written, eager to teach the truth and not someone’s idea of truth.  Through the past 40 or so years, I have taught this study many many times and have come to love the study of the end times.  I try with God’s help, never to interpret the scriptures, but let the scriptures interpret themselves.  I have been amazed at how God has put this part of His word together.  He has placed within His word, everything we need to know to come to a vast understanding of this Revelation of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and His return.  This Revelation study is just one of the many books that I have taught and will be teaching. So stay tuned in for all of “Momma Maggies” Bible studies

Join me, here on OTWHministries as we attempt, once again, to understand God’s Amazing Revelation.

God richly bless you and yours in the name of Jesus, our Lord.
