A GIVING HEART

2 Corinthians 9:7-8

9:7-8 Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.

Here Paul is not saying to give more than you can. What he is saying is when and what you give should be given with a cheerful heart. A heart of love. Some can give money some give time, yet all should give with a loving heart with no selfish motives. God knows why we give, when we give out of worldly perspective and expect something back, God see our selfish motive and probably won’t bless us. When we give whether it is large or small and do so with a loving heart God knows and will bless us back.

ON THE WAY HOME WALK WITH JESUS and let Him give you a loving heart that wants to give others Jesus and His love.
