BEING CONTENT

Philippians 4:11-12

11 I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. 12 I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want.

This scripture hits home for me. I can understand Paul’s situation and appreciate knowing some of what he was going thru being in prison. When I was out, I had many things, things I wanted, things that let me live the way I wanted to live with little concern for others. I had plenty and I thought I was content. But since it was all taken away, I know what being in need is. Well not really because God supplies all my needs. And for the first time in my life, I have learned to be content right where I am. I may have very few (things), but I have learned to be content where I am because Jesus Christ gives Joy, Peace in every situation I find myself in.

ON THE WAY HOME WALK WITH JESUS and allow Jesus to be and give you your contentment.
