BEST TO BE HONEST

Proverbs 12:13

13 Evildoers are trapped by their sinful talk, and so the innocent escape trouble.

As James Selph continues thru Romans, I will be looking at what God says and thinks of honesty and dishonesty in the book of Proverbs. We will look at it from several different perspectives and how it affects our lives and others around us. In today's scripture, we see that God says a righteous man escapes trouble. So many times we are short-sighted and only see what will happen today. Therefore we will tell a “white lie: to try to make us look better or shift the blame. But in God’s eyes, a lie is a lie. And the small problem today, if lied about, will surely cause God’s judgment in the long run. ON THE WAY HOME WALK WITH JESUS and don’t let yourself get caught in the lie of today.
