CRY FOR HELP

Psalm 6:1-4 New International Version (NIV)

1: Lord, do not rebuke me in your anger or discipline me in your wrath. 2: Have mercy on me, Lord, for I am faint; heal me, Lord, for my bones are in agony. 3: My soul is in deep anguish. How long, Lord, how long? 4: Turn, Lord, and deliver me; save me because of your unfailing love.

When you sin, do you think of God’s anger? Or do you worry about how He will discipline you? If you don’t, maybe you should check and make sure where your life is with God. So many times, we forget that even though our Lord and Savior is a loving, forgiving, compassionate God, full of grace and mercy, He also is like a loving parent. He still gets angry when we disobey or disrespect Him. Yes, God’s love is unfailing. Jesus lived a perfect life. Surely as Christians we should want to be more like Christ and show God and others that we too should have a spirit of love. Sometimes love is not easy, but Jesus says thru Him all things are possible. ON THE WAY HOME WALK WITH JESUS and make sure that we always cry to the LORD for help and not depend on our own ways or the way of the world!!
