DO NOT BRIBE!!!

PROVERBS 17:8

8A bribe is seen as a charm by the one who gives it; they think success will come at every turn.

17: 8   Solomon is not condoning bribery here, but he is making an observation about the way the world operates. Bribes may get people what they want, but the Bible clearly condemns using them.

Matthew 28: 11-15,

11While the women were on their way, some of the guards went into the city and reported to the chief priests everything that had happened. 12When the chief priests had met with the elders and devised a plan, they gave the soldiers a large sum of money, 13telling them, “You are to say, ‘His disciples came during the night and stole him away while we were asleep.’ 14If this report gets to the governor, we will satisfy him and keep you out of trouble.” 15So the soldiers took the money and did as they were instructed. And this story has been widely circulated among the Jews to this very day.

In today's society we see things that we know are actually just bribery. "I will make sure you have a vote to give you what you want if I get X amount from you for giving the vote to make it happen!!" These happen in politics everyday. Our society has become a big circle of making money by doing something that is wrong or is ethically wrong because it wouldn't happen if someone didn't MAKE IT HAPPEN by buying an accessibility to it by means of PLAIN OLD BRIBERY!

ON THE WAY HOME WALK WITH JESUS and make sure that in all you do you are doing it for RIGHT reasons and the right way of making it happen and condemn any sort of bribery that we see, Because GOD SEES IT!!!
