DO WE HAVE PATIENCE??

PROVERBS 14:29

29Whoever is patient has great understanding, but one who is quick-tempered displays folly.

14: 29   A quick temper can be like a fire out of control. It can burn us and everyone around us in its path. Anger divides people. It pushes us into hasty decisions that cause bitterness and guilt. Yet anger in itself is not wrong. Anger can be a legitimate reaction to injustice and sin. When you feel yourself getting angry, look for the cause. Are you reacting to an evil situation that you are going to set right? Or are you responding selfishly to a personal insult? Pray that God will help you control your quick temper, channeling your feelings into effective action and conquering selfish anger through humility and repentance.

This was another of my pops fine Christian traits!! PATIENCE!!He ALWAYS observed and listened and thought about any conversation or action before he responded or reacted! Very seldom did i ever see him react in a negative manor or act out of anger. I pray that i am becoming is wise and knowledgable as he was. ON THE WAY HOME WALK WITH JESUS and make sure that we are continually gaining patience as we grow wiser in our CHRISTIAN maturity!!
