DO YOU HEAR GOD?

GENESIS 3:8

3:8 Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the LORD God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day and they hid from the LORD God among the trees of the garden.

This passage speaks of Adam and Eve when they were in the Garden of Eden and just after they had eaten the forbidden fruit. They heard God and hid themselves from Him. They were afraid because they had sinned. These first humans had a special relationship with God. They walked and talked with Him. In fact, He had created them to be companions with Himself. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we could walk and talk with Him?

Well, we can……and we should. Because God wants our companionship just as he did with Adam and Eve. Of course, we cannot see Him face to face, but we can know that He is there with us. If we listen with our heart and spirit, we can hear Him speak to us. We feel His presence even though we cannot visibly see Him.

Have you ever felt His presence? Do you talk with Him, expecting Him to answer? If you have, how cool is that!! WOW. If you have not, you are missing out on one of the greatest blessings that He has given to you. Get alone with Him. I promise He will be there. Then just be still and think about Him, call out to Him, and He will hear you. Then….you will feel His spirit and will know that He is there. He longs to have that companionship with you. ONE THE WAY HOME WALK WITH JESUS and talk to Him and He will answer
