DON’T BE A FOOL

Romans 1:22-24

22 Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools 23 and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like a mortal human being and birds and animals and reptiles. 24 Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another.

How any so called smart, or intelligent people do we see turn from God? How often do you think that mere mortal or human tings cap provide peace, joy, happiness? Many times, we may not worship “idols” or graven images, but we do put other things in front of God and our love and trust in Him. When I put my trust in a job, myself, a situation that I thought was right, I often found it falling the wrong direction, which caused even more problems. God always gives us the choice, good or evil. A lot of the times in our life we jump the gun and do what we think is right. I notice when I do, that little thing called conscience which is really the Holy Spirit, tells me I’m wrong. Do I listen? Like a lot of people, I used to not listen very much. But today I do listen every time when It speaks to me, therefore He deserves all the trust and love I can give. ON THE WAY HOME WALK WITH JESUS, not away from Him and His guidance and love.
