Proverbs 12:22-23

22 The Lord detests lying lips, but he delights in people who are trustworthy. 23 The prudent keep their knowledge to themselves, but a fool’s heart blurts out folly.

12:23 Prudent people have quiet confidence. Insecure or uncertain people (fools) feel the need to prove themselves, but prudent people don’t have to prove anything.
