EXCUSES FOR WORK
Proverbs 22:13
13 The sluggard says, “There’s a lion outside! I’ll be killed in the public square!”
22:13 This proverb refers to an excuse a lazy person might use to avoid going to work. The excuse sounds silly to us, but that’s often how our excuses sound to others. Don’t rationalize laziness. Take your responsibilities seriously and get to work. Tyndale. Life Application Study Bible NIV.
This sounds kind of strange. But, how many excuses do we use, that sound just as strange to others. Especially if we use the same excuse more than once. Or we are constantly finding new excuses not to work. We may fool people sometimes, but just like the sin of any kind if we continue to do so, it will be exposed. And God knows anyway.
ON THE WAY HOME WALK WITH JESUS and make reasons to go to work not excuses not to work.
