Matthew 7:21-24

21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven,(B) but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ 23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’24 “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice(H) is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.

Jesus tells us that although we want to look as if we are religious and fool others by doing “good deeds”, He knows better and He will turn them away on judgment day. He expects a changed life, a selfless life style. One that shows His love not a false front so that others think you are holy. And when we hear God’s words, He wants us to live our lives as He commands. No one can be perfect only Jesus was perfect. But, But! We can change, we can strive to do better, we can run the race of endurance and be proud to say “I love Jesus. ON THE WAY HOME WALK WITH JESUS and insure all see you walking with JESUS on my way home”.
