FAITH IN PRAYER

Mark 9:26-29

26 The spirit shrieked, convulsed him violently and came out. The boy looked so much like a corpse that many said, “He’s dead.” 27 But Jesus took him by the hand and lifted him to his feet, and he stood up. 28 After Jesus had gone indoors, his disciples asked him privately, “Why couldn’t we drive it out?” 29 He replied, “This kind can come out only by prayer.”

Here Jesus’ disciples couldn’t cast the demon from the boy. How often do we turn to God in prayer? It seems like as we watch our society, we only see prayer when tragedy strikes. When terror arrives. When we can’t seem to find it in ourselves a cure for a problem. The power of prayer is amazing and miraculous. Yet the government and schools have taken prayer away. Prayer also gives us protection from evil. Prayer gives us the ability to allow our faith to let God work in all situations. Keep your faith strong, pray and watch miracles happen. I’ve asked before that you keep a dated prayer journal and see your faith in prayer work. Well, to date since February of 2014, my prayer journal has hundreds of prayers and only 11 unanswered. Maybe not the way I wanted or expected but God does answer faithful prayers. ON THE WAY HOME WALK WITH JESUS and make sure to keep your faith and know that Jesus will answer prayers in and at the exact correct times.
