FAITH IS DISCOMFORT SOMETIMES!!!

Job 2:7-10

7 So Satan went out from the presence of the LORD and afflicted Job with painful sores from the soles of his feet to the crown of his head. 8 Then Job took a piece of broken pottery and scraped himself with it as he sat among the ashes.9 His wife said to him, “Are you still maintaining your integrity? Curse God and die!” 10 He replied, “You are talking like a foolish woman. Shall we accept good from God, and not trouble?” In all this, Job did not sin in what he said.

Could you even begin to imagine an ailment so bad with sores all over your body that you scratched them raw? Then with the ugliness of your body your wife wanted you to curse God and give up and die. Job was truly one if not the most faithful man God ever tested. But, God did continue to give Job the strength to continue his life during these times. And when God had shown Satan Job’s faith, God rewarded Job with more than he ever had. God wants our faith and loyalty to Him to be unwavering and given to Him as freely as He gives His love and mercy to us. Trusting in Jesus is simple, but doesn’t mean we will always be comfortable in our life. But when we endure the trying times in our life He will reward us often in more ways the we can fathom. ON THE WAY HOME WALK WITH JESUS and try to live our lives more like Job and learn to have faith in CHRIST even in the worst situations that we are thrown into knowing HE IS in CONTROL of everything that happens!!!!
