FORGIVING OUR ENEMIES

ROMANS 12:14

14Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse.

This verse is NOT something the world teaches or is very accepting of. In fact I was never brought up to think this way. I was always taught that every “wrong” had to be “righted”. I lived a life of anger and vengefulness. I know I am only speaking for myself here, surely , no one else can relate to that kind of thinking??? But with our lord and Saviour JESUS CHRIST and his Holy Spirit that lives inside us, we can embrace this verse and put it into action. I would never have thought this to be possible. Now today I can say that I pray daily for the well being of those that lied on me to get me in here. I look at all the blessings given to me during my time here in prison and am truly thankful for those blessings. This also did not happen overnight. But it can happen for all of Gods children when we are open to the changes he will make in us. ON THE WAY HOME WALK WITH JESUS being able to “BLESS THOSE” that we thought we could never do.
