GODS LOVE OVERPOWERS SATAN

John 14:30-31

30: I will not say much more to you, for the prince of this world is coming. He has no hold over me, 31: but he comes so that the world may learn that I love the Father and do exactly what my Father has commanded me. “Come now; let us leave.

14:30-31 Although Satan, the prince of this world, was unable to overpower Jesus (Matthew 4), he still had the arrogance to try. Satan’s power exists only because God allows him to act. But because Jesus is sinless, Satan has no power over him. If we obey Jesus and align ourselves closely with God’s purposes, Satan can have no power over us. Life Application Study Bible NIV

Does this seem impossible to some of us??? Does it mean we will be perfect like Jesus was?? We will never live a perfect sinless life. But our acceptance of JESUS in our life justifies our salvation to GOD just as if we had lived a sinless life. It also means that the more we mature in Christ the less we should sin!! I pray that each of us as children of GOD can say that everyday that we live has less sin in it than the day before. AND today the prince of the world is out here so blatantly showing his evil that we should be very easily seeing his evil therefore avoiding it more and more everyday. WITH JESUS we have the power to refuse to do as satan wants us to do, but if we try to do it without JESUS we will find ourselves giving in to the temptations of the world!!ON THE WAY HOME WALK WITH JESUS and makes sure God’s love overpowers satan in your life!!
