JESUS WAS BORN

Luke 2:1-7

2 In those days Caesar Augustus issued a decree that a census should be taken of the entire Roman world. 2 (This was the first census that took place while[a] Quirinius was governor of Syria.) 3 And everyone went to their own town to register. 4 So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David. 5 He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child. 6 While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, 7 and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them.

MERRY CHRISTMAS to everyone. But even more so is our taking today and remembering the real reason for this day. JESUS CHRIST was born. Our LORD and SAVIOUR came as a humble servant, born in a manger in a poor situation. Rose to be a perfect example for us all to see and now try to be as much like him as we can. God knew exactly what he was doing. He showed us how to be true Christians. Not just "want to be" Christians, like so many people in today's world, want us to see. Hiding behind the "Christian" or religious acts. I pray that we all at least stop today and give Jesus the praise, honor, and glory that is so rightly due to him. Not just going on about presents and gifts. Gods gift to us was Jesus Christ, and our gift to him is all of us. He loved us so much that he died for EVERYONE of us as sinners so that we could be seen as perfect in Gods eyes. How amazing is that? I pray that you all have a very MERRY CHRISTMAS and that family and friends all know that Gods love and families love is the true gift for the season. ON THE WAY HOME WALK WITH JESUS GODS LOVE TO YOU ALL. OTWHministries by RICHARD DEAN BROOKS
