LIKE a lion

1 PETER 5:8-9

8 Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. 9 Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings.

Did you notice it says LIKE a lion, not is a lion? Actually, he is a coward. He always tries to slip in where and when you aren’t expecting him. And he is very good at it. So he has had lots of practice. He is always on the PROWL looking for someone to prey on. Waiting for a weak moment in our life to deceive you into thinking sin is better. ON THE WAY HOME WALK WITH JESUS and stand firm in your faith knowing that all of your brothers and sisters in Christ are experiencing the same deception of Satan.
