LOVE IS NOT RUDE

1 Corinthians 13:5 NIV. “It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.”

As we continue our series on love this week, we see what “Love is Not”.

Webster’s: Rude – 1. Being in a rough or unfinished state, primitive or undeveloped 2. Lacking refinement or delicacy; ignorant or unlearned; inelegant, uncouth offensive in manner or action; discourteous 3. Uncivilized, savage; coarse, vulgar 4. Marked by or suggestive of lack of training or skill 5. Forceful or abrupt.

As we see these definitions this week, I wonder how often I fall into these categories. Being in the rough? Could this mean that I am growing in my Christian life, or is it just me being mean to someone. I pray that we are growing to not be rude. All these things, we are not to be. But still we catch ourselves doing them from time to time. Hopefully we read God’s Words and they affect us to change from our old rude ways of life. Jesus wasn’t ever rude. Therefore, we should live to be more like Jesus. ON THE WAY HOME WALK WITH JESUS and let love live in you and make sure you’re not rude to others!!
