NO ANXIETY AND LOTS OF PRAYER
Philippians 4:6-7
6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
4:6-7 Imagine never being “anxious about anything”! It seems like an impossibility; we all have worries on the job, in our homes, at school. But Paul’s advice is to turn our worries into prayers. Do you want to worry less? Then pray more! Whenever you start to worry, stop and pray. Tyndale. Life Application Study Bible NIV
Wow! Be anxious about nothing!! Well, I don’t know about you, but that seems to be hard for me to do. Even as I get thru with my prayers, I find myself wanting to worry about the things I just gave to Jesus to take care of. That sounds like I don’t trust Him to do what He says. We have to learn to give him our needs, thanks, temptations, your likes and dislikes and let Him have them. Learn to tell God EVERYTHING and know He will handle it. But so many times we are like the man walking down the road wearing a heavy pack. A man sees him and stops to pick him up, and the man gets in the back of the truck but keeps the pack on. When we give that load to Jesus, He can carry it, and He wants to carry it for us.
ON THE WAY HOME WALK WITH JESUS and be anxious for nothing and give Jesus all the prayer of praise, thanks, honor, and glory He deserves.
