SHALL WE GO ON SINNING

Romans 6:1-4

6: What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? 2: By no means! We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer? 3: Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? 4: We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.

If God’s grace and forgiveness is so great, then does this give us the freedom to keep on sinning and asking or forgiveness? NO, it takes the burden of guilt from us which is a heavy burden. It also causes us to have shame, which will head to us giving up. When Jesus comes into our lives and God’s grace and mercy is given to us freely, we should become grateful and want to do right, live a life of clean healthy living so to please our creator. And if you don’t, you might want to look at yourself and see if you truly did ask Him to rule in your life. Jesus said He would take our burdens. The more you give to Christ the more He will help. The more He helps the more you should want to love and honor Him. Which starts the road to maturity in Christ. As you walk with Jesus the easier it becomes to put your burdens on Him. And if you doubt He is strong enough to carry all our burdens then think again and try Jesus. I guarantee He can carry yours, mine, and the whole world’s burdens if we only turn to Him.

ON THE WAY HOME WALK WITH JESUS and Christ will give you new life and strength to get through the day without sin.
