SLEEP OR EAT

Proverbs 20:13

13 Do not love sleep or you will grow poor; stay awake, and you will have food to spare.

We all like to sleep. Sleeping accomplishes the rest we need to work. When we get our balance of sleep over doing God’s work and the work we do to supply our needs for survival, we start to lose the things we need which are necessary to live in the world God gave us. Back in Genesis God gave man dominion over the land and beast, to take care of the world. Toil the land and raise or protect the animals so that they could sustain human life for food or ecological balance. Our job has not changed.

ON THE WAY HOME WALK WITH JESUS and rest when we should, work when we should and always thank Jesus Christ for the ability to do all this for His Glory, not ours
