SOUND JUDGEMENT AND WISDOM

Proverbs 3:21

21 My son, do not let wisdom and understanding out of your sight, preserve sound judgment and discretion.

Proverbs 4:7

The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding.

4:7 David taught Solomon as a young boy that seeking God’s wisdom was the most important choice he could make. Solomon learned the lesson well. When God appeared to Solomon to fulfill any request, Solomon chose wisdom above all else. We should also make God’s wisdom our first choice. We don’t have to wait for God to appear to us. We can boldly ask him for wisdom today through prayer. James 1:5 assures us that God will grant our request. Tyndale. Life Application Study Bible NIV

So often today so many of us ask God for all the things we THINK we need instead of doing things his way and in his will. Which doesn’t seem to ever be enough, and it never will be until we get into HIS will and ways. Having sound judgement and gaining knowledge are 2 things we should want first. If we had these 2 things we would not be asking for things that are selfish or are unproductive to doing Gods will. ON THE WAY HOME WALK ITH JESUS and when you need things make sure that you are always using sound judgement and wisdom to acquire what God wants in your life!!!
