STAY FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT

ACTS 13:49-52

13:49-52 “49 The word of the Lord spread through the whole region. 50 But the Jewish leaders incited the God-fearing women of high standing and the leading men of the city. They stirred up persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and expelled them from their region. 51 So they shook the dust off their feet as a warning to them and went to Iconium. 52 And the disciples were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.”

As we read these verses as humans, we would seem to think Rejection . In today we will have many people that will reject our trying to bring the Gospel to them. At first it might seem disheartening to us, even make us feel like we didn’t do our job. Yet as long as we do so with pure motives that are led by the Holy Spirit, He will give us understanding and discernment to know that there are may that just won’t accept the Gospel. So when this happens, and it will, don’t be discouraged, stop, shake the dust off your feet, pray, and thank God that you are able to be His servant and ask for more of the Holy Spirit’s power to continue into the next town (or situation) and boldly continue to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ.

ON THE WAY HOME WALK WITH JESUS and keep the Holy Spirit controlling your walk as you bring Jesus to the lost. Then, in the day of Judgment, we can hear Jesus say “Well done, my good and faithful servant.
