TREATING POOR PEOPLE POOR!!

PROVERBS 18:23

23The poor plead for mercy, but the rich answer harshly.

18: 23   This verse does not condone insulting those who are poor; it simply records an unfortunate fact of life. It is wrong for rich people to treat those who are in need with contempt and arrogance, and God will judge such actions severely. Without intervention, the needs of people who are poor will be unmet. What is your attitude toward those living in poverty? What are you doing to meet their needs?

Do we treat the poor badly?? Unfortunately some us do or have done so! But, GOD says we will answer for theses actions. so how should we treat them?? well I am sure we all see people begging at stoplights! So why shouldn't we feel sorrow and compassion for them? Why not just drive to the closest food place and buy them a hamburger and fries? there are many ways too treat the poor with GOD"S love instead of human hate.
