WHAT JESUS DOES TO DEMONS

Matthew 8:28-32

28 When he arrived at the other side in the region of the Gadarenes, two demon-possessed men coming from the tombs met him. They were so violent that no one could pass that way. 29 “What do you want with us, Son of God?” they shouted. “Have you come here to torture us before the appointed time?” 30 Some distance from them a large herd of pigs was feeding. 31 The demons begged Jesus, “If you drive us out, send us into the herd of pigs.” 32 He said to them, “Go!” So they came out and went into the pigs, and the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the lake and died in the water.

When Jesus found these men, they were considered unclean because of their homes were in the graveyard and they were demon processed. Yet Jesus helped them anyway. He cast the demons into pigs which were also considered unclean. Then the demons caused the pigs to run into the sea to their death. Showing what the demons‘ intent really was, which was to persecute people. Since they couldn’t do that anymore, they killed the pigs. Satan wants to destroy our life anyway he can. Jesus wants to give us life eternal. ON THE WAY HOME WALK WITH JESUS knowing that JESUS can defeat any demons we have in our life, whether they are physical like drugs, cigarettes, alcohol, or any other physical addiction that is contrary to GOD’S will. Or spiritual demons that we contend with in our mind such as temptations or tribulations, or even anger, adultery, covetousness, or any other sin that satan tries to attack us with!!!!
