WHO LET THE DOGS OUT

Philippians 3:2-4

2 Watch out for those dogs, those evildoers, those mutilators of the flesh. 3 For it is we who are the circumcision, we who serve God by his Spirit, who boast in Christ Jesus, and who put no confidence in the flesh— 4 though I myself have reasons for such confidence. If someone else thinks they have reasons to put confidence in the flesh, I have more.

How many dogs do we see in today's religion? Paul spoke of the men that spoke words of comfort and of false religion. Today even we don’t see the truth of Jesus Christ being preached, We see today in many churches, the “everything will be alright,” the “live and let live,” the “if you do or live this way God will accept it.” It is easy to live a religious life of lies and socially acceptable ways. Salvation is only thru Jesus Christ, and Paul figured this out by his own life of living a life without Christ. In the next few verses Paul show how the Judaizers justified themselves by their living by the Mosaic law, not by faith in Jesus Christ.
