WHY GOD SAVES US BY FAITH ALONE

Romans 3:28 For we maintain that a person is justified by faith apart from the works of the law.

3:28 Why does God save us by faith alone? (1) Faith eliminates the pride of human effort, because faith is not a deed that we do. (2) Faith exalts what God has done, not what we do. How often do we seem to forget that God is the one in control? Yet we still want to say look what I did!! And leave God out of the equation. When what we should always say is thank you Lord for giving me the strength to handle the situation that you allowed to come before me and without your grace I could not have handled this or that or whatever the day may bring. We need to make sure that our faith in everything that happens in our lives is only because of what JESUS did for us. Nothing we can do will ever be enough to satisfy that justification that JESUS gives to God for our forgiveness of sin and the atonement that gives us eternal life with JESUS CHRIST!! We, plainly put are just not good enough!!! ON THE WAY HOME WALK WITH JESUS knowing that our faith in JESUS is the ONLY way we will ever get to heaven. NOT Jesus + anything JUST faith in JESUS ALONE.
