PROVERBs 16:26

26The appetite of laborers works for them; their hunger drives them on.

16: 26   This proverb is not an excuse for wealthy employers to keep their workers underpaid and hungry. It is an observation, however, that the need to eat is a significant motivator for people to work hard for their pay. No matter how much difficulty or drudgery we may find in our work, our appetite drives us to keep going. Hunger makes us work hard so it can be satisfied.
