WORKERS FOR CHRIST
Philippians 2:29-30
29: So then, welcome him in the Lord with great joy, and honor people like him, 30: because he almost died for the work of Christ. He risked his life to make up for the help you yourselves could not give me.
2:29-30 The world honors those who are intelligent, beautiful, rich, and powerful. What kind of people should the church honor? Paul indicates that we should honor those who give their lives for the sake of Christ, going where we cannot go ourselves. Our missionaries do that for us today by providing ministry where we are not able to go. Tyndale. Life Application Study Bible NIV.
ON THE WAY HOME HOME WALK WITH JESUS and Don’t be afraid to be a worker of Christ no matter what the cost, because like Paul the cost he paid was the ultimate price that could have been paid. His life. And in todays world it may come to that, that we too die for Jesus Christ!!!
