Hi and good day to you I am Richard Dean Brooks

I started ON THE WAY HOME MINISTRIES while I was incarcerated in Federal Prison and we (my father and I) started it as a daily scripture and devotion delivered to Facebook, Emails, and even in the Federal secure emails called Coorlinks.com . PROVERBS 17:22

22A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.

17: 22 Cheerfulness is shown by always being ready to greet others with a welcoming word, offering words of encouragement, being enthusiastic about the task at hand, or having a positive outlook on the future. Such people are as welcome to others as pain-relieving medicine.

Do we live with a cheerful heart? I am afraid most of us don't! DO people that we encounter look forward to seeing us because we ALWAYS are the one person that is always positive in our actions and attitude? I have to be honest and say that I fail at this all the time, I try but I allow things of the world to take the peace and joy I have in JESUS CHRIST!! It should not be, God's word tells us so. These PROVERBS are a instruction manual to us to be a CHRISTIAN full of GOD'S LOVE!! I have a Brother in CHRIST who i can say truly lives this way to the best of his ability and is truly a joy to be around and talk to. AND I THANK GOD for his influence he has in my life and others. So ON THE WAY HOME WALK WITH JESUS and make sure that we live with a CHEERFUL HEART AND BE THE GOOD MEDICINE that others need to see in showing them our walk with JESUS AND HOW HIS love AFFECTS our life for the better!!
