Hi and good day to you I am Richard Dean Brooks

I started ON THE WAY HOME MINISTRIES while I was incarcerated in Federal Prison and we (my father and I) started it as a daily scripture and devotion delivered to Facebook, Emails, and even in the Federal secure emails called Coorlinks.com . PROVERBS 17:9

9Whoever would foster love covers over an offense, but whoever repeats the matter separates close friends.

17: 9 This proverb says that we should disregard the faults of others. Forgiving faults and overlooking offenses help build and restore relationships. We may be tempted, especially in an argument, to bring up all the mistakes the other person has ever made. Love, however, keeps our mouth shut— difficult though that may be. Try never to bring a personal attack about someone into an argument with them. Stay focused on the topic being discussed. As we grow to be like Christ, we will acquire God’s ability to overlook the offenses of others in order to deepen our relationships with them.

When we are in debates or arguments do we try to find faults or ways to make the other person seem less than or not as good as we think we are? Human nature seems to make us WANT to do this but GOD SAYS NOT TO, and for us to overlook there faults with love so that we can rebuild that situation for the betterment of both people. Not destroy an already fragile situation. ON THE WAY HOME WALK WITH JESUS and make sure that we show love and not worldly emotions that don't show other JESUS CHRIST in our life!!ONLY SHOW JESUS LOVE!!!!
