SLAVES TO WHO? SIN OR RIGHTOUSNESS

Romans 6:15-17

15: What then? Shall we sin because we are not under the law but under grace? By no means! 16: Don’t you know that when you offer yourselves to someone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one you obey—whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness? 17: But thanks be to God that, though you used to be slaves to sin, you have come to obey from your heart the pattern of teaching that has now claimed your allegiance.

We hear so much about slaves, whether it is a race ordeal or a political situation. If we really look at it, all it is about sin. When one man is prejudice or has authority and misuses that authority it becomes sin. How simple it would be if man would put righteousness in the place of sin. Then all or our problems of politics and racism and religiousness conflict would end. Jesus gives us the ability to remove sin and the slavery it causes. Righteousness allows us a road to eternal life so, ON THE WAY HOME WALK WITH JESUS and make Jesus your owner and be free from slavery of sin.
